Bath bomb making is a fun and creative activity that doesn't require a ton of equipment. In fact, you only need a few bowls, gloves, and a mould to make some amazing bath bombs! It's a great hobby to pick up if you're looking for a way to unwind and create something unique. With a little bit of practice, you'll be making bath bombs in all sorts of scents and colours. So don't worry about needing a lot of equipment, just grab a few essential items and let your imagination run wild!
Equipment for making Halloween Bath Bombs:
• Suitable Moulds
• 3-4 Mixing Bowls
• Flat Edge Tool/Cutting Blade
• Water Sprayer
Ingredients for making Halloween Bath Bombs:
• 500g Bicarbonate of Soda
• 250g Citric Acid
• 50g SLSA Powder
• 30g Polysorbate 80
• 25g Fragrance Oil
• Activated Charcoal
• PCD Liquid Dye - Orange
• PCD Liquid Dye - Violet
• PCD Liquid Dye - Red

This recipes makes approximately 800g of bath bomb mix, we made 8/9 bath bombs using our selected mould. Always check the IFRA and legal limits for your chosen fragrance or essential oil.
How To Make Your Own Halloween Bath Bombs...
- Firstly, prepare your area by gathering all the necessary equipment needed and measuring out your ingredients.
- Next, in a bowl add your citric acid to your sodium bicarbonate and combine.
- Then carefully, add in your SLSA powder and mix, breaking away any lumps.
- Pour in your polysorbate and mix well.
- Next, add in your fragrance oil and combine until dispersed.
- Divide your mixture into four bowls, working with the amount of colour your require. Make sure to leave one white mix.
- Then, add your colours to your remaining bowls and mix each one well. Ensuring your colours have blended throughout your mixture.
- Now we need to find the correct consistency, lightly spray your mixtures with water and mix immediately. You will only need one or two sprays, you are aiming for a snowball like consistency when squeezed together.
- Once you are happy, you can build your bath bombs! Use the different colours to add character to each bomb, layering and emphasising certain details. Make sure you are pressing your mix into the mould, to ensure it is compact.
- Once filled, use your blade to scrape away the access and leave a flat edge to your bath bomb.
- Then, leave your bath bombs until they have dried or hardened.
- Once dry, carefully remove from your mould and you're done! You can enjoy your Halloween Bath Bombs!
