How To Make Candles Using CocoPro Wax...
- Firstly, prepare your area by gathering all the necessary equipment needed. Ensure that your vessels are clean and dry before use.
- Next, melt your wax using your preferred method and melt at a low temperature of 50 degrees Celsius for a smooth pouring process.
- Whilst your wax is melting, set up your candle glasses with a different type of wick for testing using a wick centring tool and wick stickum to adhere to each glass.
- Warm your vessels to promote better adhesion between wax and vessel surface, using a hairdryer, heat gun, or warm water.
- Add your fragrance oil slightly above the pouring temperature to allow time for pouring before the wax cools.
- Carefully pour the melted wax into your vessels, leaving space at the top for smooth tops, ensuring even pouring to avoid spills.
- Leave your candles to cool and cure, up to 24 hours is usually best.
- Once your candles have cooled and set, trim your wicks to start conducting your burn tests.
- Track parameters such as room temperature, melt pool depth, and wick performance to optimise your candle-making process.
