This recipe is also free of any fragrance oils, as the Cocoa Butter creates it’s own amazing aroma. If you wanted a different aroma you can add in 2.8g of an essential oil or fragrance. A perfect additional scent would be a sweet orange, to give you a yummy chocolate orange aroma!

Equipment for Bath Melts

• Two Saucepans
• Spatula
• Heart Moulds 

Ingredients for Bath Melts

• 40g Emulsifying Wax
• 5og Shea Butter
• 10g Cocoa Butter

How to make bath melts...

1. Firstly melt your cocoa butter in a double boiler.
2. As soon as it’s melted add in your shea and emulsifying wax and mix, ensuring all three ingredients are dispersed throughout.
3. Once it has all melted pour into the moulds and leave in the fridge to cool.
4. Finally, once set, remove from your moulds and enjoy your Cocoa Heart Bath Melts!

Is emulsifying wax safe for skin?

Emulsifying Wax is excellent for your skin, it contains moisturising properties which makes it perfect not just for bath melts, but creams, lotions and butters as well.
