How To Make Foaming Shower Oil (using Durosoft Emulsifier)
A very simple recipe that makes a wonderfully luxurious foaming Shower Oil using a mix of natural skin-friendly oils together with the extremely simple-to-use 'Durosoft' emulsifier and a Water-Free surfactant. Everything in this recipe is available to buy from our website. This recipe can be scaled up in proportion very easily.
YOU'LL NEED...
• Accurate weighing scales
• A suitably sized saucepan
• Thermometer
• A stick blender
• A suitable bottle and lid
INGREDIENTS
• 20g Caprylic Capric Triglyceride (Saboderm TCC)
• 53g Sunflower Oil
• 9g Durosoft SF. Natural PEG-Free Emulsifier
• 18g Lumorol Waterless Surfactant
• 1g (1%) Essential Oil or Fragrance Oil (optional)
HOW TO...
Step 1
Add Caprylic Capric Triglyceride and Sunflower Oil to the saucepan mix and then heat to 40°C.
Step 2
Remove from the heat and add the Durosoft and mix in thoroughly.
Step 3
Add the Lumorol and mix again.
Step 4
Add essential/fragrance oils and using a stick blender mix until homogenised.
Step 5
Pour into a suitable bottle.
