Cocus nucifera
Coconut Oil is a solid when stored below approximately 28 degC, this oil is extremely useful in soapmaking. High in Lauric acid it gives excellent lather to soaps. Moderately high in Palmitic acid, it also gives a hardness to bar soaps. Melts on skin contact, ideal for all skin types including dry, itchy and sensitive skins.
