How To Make Neapolitan Whipped Soap
Create your own whipped soap, combining three popular aromas and swirled to produce a beautifully creamy soap. This recipe uses Stephenson OPC Foaming Bath Butter.
This recipe is a guide and can be adjusted using all kinds of colours, fragrances and more on our website to create your own bespoke whipped soaps.
Whipped soap's popularity is constantly growing, it is easy to use for a perfect clean and can also act as a shaving soap. Producing a thick, foamy lather, this soapy creation will leave your skin fresh and smooth.
Strawberry Fragrance, a fresh fruity fragrance of ripe wild strawberries blended with notes of fresh green leaf and a sweet juicy base note. This fragrance is allergen free.
Chocolate Fragrance, this oil is perfect for the chocolate aspect of this make. With a rich, smooth, dark chocolate aroma that holds a distinct 'cocoa' note.
Vanilla Fragrance, a long lasting oil, this fragrances holds a complex vanilla and dairy aroma that unfolds to a floral middle. The heavy notes then mellow to a slight spice and a musk undertone.
OPC Foaming Bath Butter, is a beautifully versatile ingredient that can be used for whipped soap, body scrubs and so much more. This base produces a creamy lather with fantastic foam.
Please ensure all appropriate safety gear is worn when making this product. This recipe makes 400g of whipped soap.
How To Use: For this product simply use your hand to scoop out your desired amount of soap, add a small amount of water and rub to create a lather. Then wash as normal!
Why not turn this recipe into a scrub? Add sugar or an exfoliant of your choice!

• Gloves
• Spatula
• Hand Blender/Mixer
• Piping Bag & Nozzle
• Cling Film
Ingredients
• 400g OPC Foaming Bath Butter, Stephenson
• 4g Chocolate Fragrance
• 4g Vanilla Fragrance, Super Non-Discolouring
• 4g Strawberry Fragrance, Allergen Free
• 1 Drop Red/Blue Liquid Colour
• Medium Brown Iron Oxide Powder (alternatively use Cocoa Powder)
Step 1
Firstly, prepare and clean your working area. Including sourcing all equipment needed. For this recipe you will need a three mixing bowls, a hand blender/mixer, a spatula, cling film and a piping bag.
Step 2
Next, in one bowl, use you hand blender to soften and add volume to your OPC base. Ensuring your have a smooth consistency throughout with no lumps.
Step 3
Then split your base evenly across your three bowls.
Step 4
Carefully, add your three fragrances to your three bowls. One in each and give them a good mix.
Step 5
In your strawberry bowl, add one drop of your liquid colour and mix in using your spatula.
Step 6
Then, in your chocolate bowl, sprinkle in your brown colour and mix until you reach your desired shade.
Step 7
Once you are happy, you should have a white vanilla mix, pink strawberry mix and brown chocolate mix. Lay out some cling film onto a flat surface. Carefully, one at a time scoop your colours onto your cling film. You are aiming to create the Neapolitan stripes, ensuring each one is evenly spread.
Step 8
Next, gently fold your cling film over to seal your mix in. Twist one end and at the other end snip the cling film to create a hole.
Step 9
Then, prepare your piping bag and place your soap mix into your bag. Twist the top to push your soap to the base of the bag and then applying pressure, squeeze your soap into your container.
Step 10
Once you have used up all of your mix, you can enjoy your Neapolitan Whipped Soap!
