How To Make Jelly Soap
With the Jubilee almost here we've been crafting some fun and easy makes to help inspire you for the Royal celebration!
These berries & cream inspired shower jellies are a great addition to your product range with their unique and enjoyable jelly consistency. This recipe makes 3 Shower Jelly Soaps.
This recipe is a guide and can be adjusted using all kinds of scents, colours and more on our website to create your own bespoke jelly soap.
Please ensure all appropriate safety gear is worn when making this product.
Equipment
• Mixing Jug x 3
• Microwave/ Double Boiler/ Pan
• Weighing Scales
• Spatula
• Heart Mould, Silicone, Set of 6
• Soap Cutter
Materials
• 330g Jelly Soap Base, Stephenson
• Silver EcoSparks Mica Based Glitter
Blue
• 3g Blueberry Fragrance
• Blue Liquid Colour
White
• 3g Vanilla Fragrance, Super Non-Discolouring
• Titanium Dioxide, White Suspension
Red
• 3g Raspberry Fragrance
• Red/Blue Liquid Colour
Step 1
Firstly, wearing gloves weigh out all of your ingredients.
Step 2
Next, carefully cut your soap base into cubes. This will help speed up the melting process.
Step 3
Then place your cubes into your pan and melt on medium heat.
Step 4
Once your soap has melted, pour out one-third of your base into a jug and add your first colour mixing until fully dispersed.
Step 5
Next, add in your mica based glitter and mix well.
Step 6
With your mixture ready you can now pour it into your mould.
Step 7
Repeat steps 4 to 6 with your 2 other colours and fragrances. (Tip: use a microwave to reheat your base if it has started to set)
Step 8
Then leave your soaps to set overnight.
Step 9
Once your soap is set you can demould enjoy these wonderfully wobbly shower jelly soaps!
