Please ensure all appropriate safety gear is worn when making this product.
Equipment
• 2 x Mixing Jug
• Gloves
• Spatula
• Circle Rose & Skull, Detailed, Silicone Mould
Materials
• 400g Triple Butter Soap Base, Stephenson
• 15g Spice Pumpkin Fragrance
• Black Coated Mica
• Apricot Mica
Step 1
Firstly, prepare and clean your working area. Including sourcing all equipment needed.
Step 2
Next, carefully cut your soap base into cubes. This will help speed up the melting process.
Step 3
Then place your cubes into your jug and melt in the microwave on a medium heat. Preferably in intervals to ensure you don’t boil your mix. Initially melt for one minute then stir and put back in. Keep an eye on your soap as it can get hot very fast.
Step 4
Once your soap has melted completely, carefully add in your fragrance oil and stir well.
Step 5
Next, split your mixture into two jugs.
Step 6
Add your orange mica powder to your first just and mix.
Step 7
Then add your black mica powder to your second jug and mix well.
Step 8
With both mixtures ready you can now add them to your mould. Carefully pour both your mixtures (at the same time or little by little for each colour) into your mould.
Step 9
Spray with IPA to remove the last unwanted bubbles and leave your soaps to set.
Step 10
Once your soap has set fully, remove it from the mould. Then you can enjoy your fearsome fragrant and beautifully layered Rose and Skull Melt & Pour Soaps!
