How To Make A Cleansing Bar
We have created a wonderful cleansing bar using our BRAND NEW Syndopour base. A new melt and pour base that is 100% soap free. It's RSPO certified and gives you the ability to create a variety of mild, pH balanced facial bar. As well as being a wonderfully easy to process base, that doesn't require any industrial pressing equipment to create a wide range of solid format bars.
For this unique recipe, we have also included Rose Hip Oil and Frankincense Essential Oil. Both have amazing properties that are known to help with damaged skin, including stretch marks and helping to nourish dry areas as well as improve pores.
Materials
• Jug
• Rectangle Silicone Mould
• Spatula
• Microwave
Ingredients
• 195g Syndopour Base
• 2g Rose Hip Oil
• 2g Frankincense Serrata Essential Oil
• 2 Drops Red/Blue Liquid Colour
This recipe makes 2 rectangle bars with our chosen mould.
Step 1
Firstly, wearing gloves, accurately weigh out all of your ingredients.
Step 2
Next, carefully cut your syndopour base into small cubes. This will help speed up the melting process.
Step 3
Then place your cubes into your jug and melt in the microwave on medium heat. Preferably in intervals to ensure you don’t boil your base. Initially melt for 1 minute then stir and put back in. Keep an eye on your base as it can get hot very fast.
Step 4
Once your base has melted completed, carefully add in your liquid colour. This can get messy so be careful when stirring to ensure it doesn’t splash.
Step 5
When your colour has completely dispersed add in your essential oil and stir well.
Step 6
Next, add in your rose hip oil and stir well.
Step 7
Next, slowly pour your mix into your mould and leave to set for a few hours.
Step 8
Finally, remove your cleansing bar from the mould and you can enjoy your rose hip & frankincense cleaning bar.
