Sebumol S 1000 is a PEG-free O/W emulsifying system. It is not designed for making lotions, creams or other long-term stable emulsions but will emulsify bath oils and shower oils respectively when they get in contact with water.
The polyglycerol esters used are Polygylceryl-3 Polyricinoleate, Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate and Polyglyceryl-3 Caprate.
When used as a base product in various formulations the manufacturers recommended inclusion level is 40% although there are example formulations where inclusion levels vary between 30% and 50%.
