Effervescing Foot Soak

A pleasantly effervescing soak for tired feet
Salts

YOU'LL NEED.....

1) A small mixing bowl
2) Kitchen scales
3) A cup or glass
4) cheese grater (fine)
5) A 250g jar & lid

INGREDIENTS

125g coarse sea salt
25g epsom salts
50g bicarbonate of soda
30g citric acid (granular)
10g finely grated cocoa butter (refined or deodorised)
5g tapioca starch
5ml your chosen essential or fragrance oil (peppermint works well)

HOW TO.....

Measure the sea salt, epsom salts, bicarbonate of soda and citric acid into the bowl. Take a 'lump' of refined or deodorised cocoa butter and grate 10g of it into the bowl with the other ingredients using a fine grater (if preferred grate into a dish and measure from there into the bowl). Mix these ingredients all together thoroughly.
Measure 5g of tapioca starch into a cup or glass and add 5ml (1 tsp) of your chosen essential oil or fragrance oil and mix thoroughly until the starch has absorbed all of the liquid, then add this to the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly. Leave this mixture to stand and dry for several hours, as the bicabonate of soda and citric acid will otherwise react and start to set the mix solid if sealed too early.
Finally decant into the 250g jar.

TO USE...

Simply sprinkle a handful into a warm foot bath and relax.
