Vaccinium macrocarpon Cranberry seed oil is rich in tocotrienols and tocopherols which are the two groups of molecules that make up Vitamin E as well as other important antioxidants. Studies have found that this oil contains the highest amount of tocotrienols than that found in any other vegetable oil. Omega 3, 6, and 9 essential fatty acids, not found in any other oil, are also unique to cranberry seed oil. It is rich in Vitamin A and has a very stable shelf life. Because cranberry seed oil penetrates the skin easily, it is highly nourishing and moisturising, leaving a light, non-greasy feeling and is widely used in anti-aging beauty products.
