UPGRADED ON-LINE CREDIT/DEBIT CARD SECURITY.

For some time now, credit/debit card companies have been introducing upgraded security measures for on-line shopping and most shopping sites now require the cardholder to enter additional information to confirm their identity and that they are in posession of the card and not just an imprint of the card. To avoid confusion please take note here of the information you will be asked for when paying for goods on our site.

For credit cards and Visa/Mastercard debit cards, Switch/Maestro/Solo/Electron debit cards, in addition to the card number and expiry date, you are now required to enter the 'Security Number'. This is the last 3 digits which appear on the Signature Strip of your card. You will be asked to enter this 3 digit number in the box marked Credit Card Verification Value.

In a small number of cases, Switch/Maestro/Solo and similar cards do not have an Issue Number on them (this depends on the issuing bank). Our website can now differentiate between cards with and without the issue number. Simply select the option of either 'Maestro (with issue)' of ' Maestro (no issue)'

American Express cards now require the 4 digit number above and right of the main card number to be entered into the box marked Credit Card Verification Value.
