SHIPPING INFORMATION

Currently we have no widespread shortages of any products.

UK Information... All parcels weighing under 1Kg sent on our 'Regular' service are sent via the Post Office by 1st class mail. Parcels over 1Kg sent on our 'Regular' service are normally sent by Interlink Express Parcel Services on their 'standard' service. Most will arrive next-working-day following the day of shipping, although in some instances, in outlying areas of the UK, this may extend to 2 working days. You have the option of our 'Special' service, which means even the smallest parcel is shipped via Interlink Express (mainland UK only), You may also choose to upgrade to our Express Service, which is a prioritised service, ensuring your order is processed ahead of all 'Regular or Special' service orders at that time.

We AIM to get your order to you in no more than 5 working days (U.K. mainland, excludes weekends) for stock lines. If we consider there may be a delay we aim to inform you. If you experience a delay, maybe due to our delivery contractor or the Royal Mail, we need to know. Please use the 'contact us' link below or this link to send us a message. Please note... at busy times of the year (pre-Christmas for instance) our shipping times for non-prioritised orders may be extended. In these instances we simply ask for your understanding.

SHIPPING CHARGES

Our current UK Mainland 'Regular'shipping charges are as follows...

Parcels up to 500g in weight £1.99
501g to 999g £4.00
1 - 1.5 Kg £4.50
1.51 - 2.0Kg £5.50
2.1 - 5.0 Kg £6.00
5.1 - 7.5 Kg £7.49
7.6 - 10.0 Kg £7.99

then 22p/Kg thereafter.

Important... Shipping charges are based on GROSS shipping weight, not NET weight. If you order 1Kg of a product, the shipping charge will default to the next rate abover 1Kg to allow for packaging etc..

Useful Information... Our shipping charges are weight-based, not order value based. Because of the anomolies of the UK postal and parcel system you may find that certain weights of parcel, more precisely those typically weighing between 1and 3 Kg represent poor value for money in respect of carriage charges, especially those made up of inexpensive yet heavy items like coconut and palm oil, sodium bicarbonate and citric acid. We are unable to subsidise carriage charges because of the fact that many of our lines are inexpensive yet heavy, leaving only minimum profit margins. We only seek to cover the cost of our shipping, never to profit from it.

GENERAL ADVICE TO MINIMISE SHIPPING COSTS.

Generally speaking, to gain best value for money when ordering inexpensive but heavy items, it makes sense to put together an order weighing between 5Kg and 10Kg, which can be shipped for a standard rate of between £7.49 and £7.99 + VAT (UK Mainland only).
