know that you need your goods promptly, so if you need to check
the status of your order please use this email link...

STATUS CHECK. Please

We
will try to respond as quickly as possible.
For non-UK
urgent orders, please simply send us a message telling us of the

UK Information...
Our shipping arrangements ensure almost
all parcels we ship are sent on a Tracked Service. All
parcels weighing under 500g sent on our 'Regular' service are
sent via the Post Office by 1st class franked mail. Parcels over
500g sent on our 'Regular' service are usually sent by Interlink
Express which is a next-working-day service (UK mainland) with
no Saturday delivery. Our regular shipping service may take a
few days to arrive in busy periods because orders are processed
in the sequence they are received. You may choose to upgrade to
our EXPRESS Service, which is a prioritised
service, ensuring your order is processed ahead of all regular
orders . We endeavour to despatch Express orders received by midday
on the same day wherever possible. This service is shipped via
Interlink Express on a next-working-day service (UK mainland).
Express service now extends to all UK destinations with tariffs
based on weight and destination. UK Island Express shipments with
a shipping charge of under £14.00 will be shipped via Royal
Mail. Presently we have No Express services outside of the UK.
Shipments to UK Island destinations may be shipped via Royal Mail
up to aprox 5Kg to keep shipping costs as low as possible.
Depending
on time-of-year our shipping lead-times for non-express (regular)
shipments may result in lead times typically between 2 and 10
working days (U.K. mainland) for stock lines. If we consider
there may be an unexpected delay we aim to inform
you. If you experience a delay, maybe due to our delivery
contractor or the Royal Mail, we need to know. Please use our
Contact Page or
this
link to send us a message. Please note... at busy times of
the year (pre-Christmas and Holiday season for instance) our shipping
times for non-prioritised orders will be longer than at quieter
times of the year. In these instances we simply ask for your understanding.
Back
Orders...
UK
Back-Orders:
If an item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You
are always free to cancel your order for that item if you would
rather not wait. Orders are charged in full when received. Back
orders are shipped free of further shipping charges. We are usually
happy to add further lightweight items to be shipped with back-orders
without further shipping cost, but reserve the right to refuse
this if the shipping cost is increased as a result.
International
Back-Orders:
If an item is not in stock we may not automatically back-order
that item. We reserve the right to remove the item from your order
and refund the cost of that item incuding any applicable proportion
of the overall shipping cost. If you would rather we back-order
the item for shipping later we undertake to inform you of any
additional shipping cost that may be incurred and give you the
option to reconsider.
SHIPPING CHARGES
Our current UK Mainland
'Regular'shipping charges are as follows...
Parcels up to 200g
in weight £2.49
201g to 399g £3.99
400g- 499g £4.49
500g - 2.0 Kg £4.99
2.1 - 3.0 Kg £5.99
3.1 - 5.0 Kg £6.49
5.1 - 7.4Kg £7.49
7.5 - 10.0Kg £7.99
then 24p/Kg thereafter.
Important...
Shipping charges are based on GROSS shipping weight, not NET weight.
If you order 1Kg of a product, the shipping charge will default
to the next rate above 1Kg to allow for packaging etc..
Useful
Information... Our shipping charges are weight-based, not order
value based. Because of the anomolies of the UK postal and parcel
system you may find that certain weights of parcel, more precisely
those typically weighing between 1and 3 Kg represent poor value
for money in respect of carriage charges, especially those made
up of inexpensive yet heavy items like coconut and palm oil, sodium
bicarbonate and citric acid. We are unable to subsidise carriage
charges because of the fact that many of our lines are inexpensive
yet heavy, leaving only minimum profit margins. We only seek to
cover the cost of our shipping, never to profit from it.
GENERAL ADVICE TO MINIMISE
SHIPPING COSTS.
Generally
speaking, to gain best value for money when ordering inexpensive
but heavy items, it makes sense to put together an order weighing
between 5Kg and 10Kg, which can be shipped for a standard rate
of between £7.49 and £7.99 + VAT (UK Mainland only).
