NOTICE FOR ALL CUSTOMERS
Orders
destined outside of the UK do not have an Express Shipping option
on our website. If this affects you and you need your goods in
a hurry Please TELL
US! and we will do our best to speed your order through.
At moment, typical
despatch time for orders placed on Regular or Other Non-Express
shipping is approximately
10 WORKING DAYS (why is this).
EXPRESS (UK) orders are currently taking 1
working day (subject to collection by our couriers).

We take
the subject of customer service very seriously. Due to the varying
levels of business we experience at different times of year you
will find that your orders can take anywhere
between 2 and 10 days to arrive when placed on our regular
shipping service (UK Mainland). If you need your order faster
than this, please choose our Express service (UK only) or please
send us an email quoting your order number and requesting any
faster delivery, which we will do our best to assist with. As
a guide our current order turnaround is quoted above...
Please
make sure you choose the appropriate shipping choice for your
order. If you
need your order to arrive quickly then you may need to choose
EXPRESS. Please only phone to check the status of your order if
absolutely necessary.
IMPORTANT
If
you (the customer) are unable to sign for your consignment and
leave 'Special Delivery Instructions' for the carrier to leave
your consignment in a 'safe' place, any loss or damage to the
consignment is strictly your responsibility. No liability for
the loss of, or damage to any such consignment can be accepted
by The Soap Kitchen or their appointed carrier.
When our carriers
(Interlink Express or TNT) are seasonally busy or during postal
strikes, their workload can be such that delivery times are extended.
For all delivery delays outside of our control due to our carrier
or postal strikes we are unable to accept liability and are therefore
unable to make any refund of shipping charges where we have incurred
charges ourselves from either our carrier or The Royal Mail.
Customers please
note... we DO NOT offer scheduled Saturday deliveries. Any Express
orders received here by Friday 12.00 noon should be with you by
the Monday following (excluding bank holidays).
