CONFUSED ABOUT HOW TO CHOOSE AND BUY YOUR PACKAGE?

We have tried to make choosing and buying a safety assessment package from our website as simple as possible allowing for the limitations of a shopping website. If you are a little confused about it, here's the basis of how to do it...

First, browse the packages we have available to see if we have what you're looking for. Once you know what product/s you need to have assessed you need to make choices for which base to use or which base products to mix to make your basic product line, i.e. which oils in a CP soap or which mix of dry ingredients in a bath bomb mix etc..

Each package we produce has either a fixed mix of base products included with the option to add more, or requires you to choose your base or base products from our website and inform us of these choices by email (there is an email link from each assessment package).

Once you know your base product/s, you need to finalise your additions or variants. Typically a variant can be anything that's normally added to a base product to make up all the varying choices you'd like to offer your customer, so for instance, with a bath bomb assessment, you would first have chosen your basic mix of base ingredients or chosen the fixed package we offer, then you would choose what fragrances and colours you'd need, any botanicals or other additions like butters, SLS etc. which would be your variants. Typically each package INCLUDES 10 variants in the basic cost, so if you need more you will have to choose to add more. Once you've finalised your variants, make sure these are also included in your email to us that should accompany your purchase.

As you progress through your purchase of an assessment, you will have first found which one suits you, then you would have chosen your inclusive base products and variants and listed them in the email, then, you'd need to choose from the choices in the package to add any extra bases, base products or variants by checking the appropriate box. Make sure you include these additions in your email.

Finally, add the package as you've chosen to your shopping cart, make the purchase and send us the accompanying email. We will then copy your purchase and email content to the chemist providing the particular package you've chosen and once we receive their reply we will copy back any queries raised to ensure the assessment is completed in the way you expect. Once you are happy with the proposed final assessment, having been made aware of any likely restrictions that may apply to the product/s, the chemist will proceed and produce the final assessment.

If you are choosing to include any product or variants in your assessment which are not purchased from The Soap Kitchen, you will need to provide the chemist with full details of this product as they require.

It is YOUR responsibility to prepare a Product Information File containing copies of MSDS, allergen lists and other required information to keep record of at your place of business. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure your product/s are always manufactured in a clean and safe environment. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure your labelling is correctly executed, which should include the full ingredient listing in correct INCI terminology for each variation of your product/s, together with suitable batch coding and contact information to you as the manufacturer.
